Food. Wine. Laughter. Three of my favorite things. And they all play a part in my career and life. This ain't yo mama's Saltines! I had this recently at a party and it turned my cracker world upside down! Try these, I promise everyone will LOVE them!


Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Cover baking sheet with foil
Spray with PAM
Cover with a layer of Saltines, salt side up- as many as you can fit on the sheet (in one layer)
On stove, bring to a boil 3/4 cup of light brown sugar and 1 and a half sticks of butter
Boil 2-3 minutes (stir a little)
Take if off the stove and pour it over the saltines, try to cover all of them
Put in the oven at 350 for about 7 minutes
When you take it out, cover with whatever chocolate you like (I used semi sweet morsels, but I've also used Hershey bars) the crackers will be hot enough that they'll melt the chocolate and you can spread it around
That's it! The chocolate will take awhile to cool.
