Yep. I'm heading out on a culinary adventure in our nations' capital. Shamrock Foods is sending me and lovely and bestest friend Monika on a 5 night all expense paid trip complete with digs at the Ritz Carlton. I was at a Ritz Carlton once. I used the lobby restroom and returned to my room at the La Quinta Inn.
We've got many events already lined up but also plenty of free time to improvise and explore. I'm hoping for a run in with Linda Tripp so I can give her my long awaited slap. We have a gala at the Mellon Auditorium. A dinner at the National American History museum. A moonlit tour of the monuments. A tour of the White House...and I've already planned to wear a blue Gap dress and bring a cigar. You never know!
We also will be hitting up some fabulous restaurants and bars. All expenses paid. Oh. Did I mention that? I gotta thank my bosses and friends, the owners of FEZ, for giving this gift to me. I'm grateful for so much in my life and truly have a dream job.
It will be interesting to see if either Monika or my ears start bleeding as we both seem to talk A LOT. Both of us ever so hammy! We're bound to find some kind of trouble. Hopefully we'll have some video blogs for you and will most certainly return home with torrid stories. And hopefully neither of us will return home wearing a court ordered ankle bracelet.
